Mr George Fayad is a highly experienced ENT Surgeon and Rhinologist
specialising in paediatrics, rhinology, balance disorders, vertigo, sleep disorders,
snoring, laser endoscopic surgery and rhinoplasty.
About George Fayad
Mr George Fayad is Governor of the International College of
Surgeons. He is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Basildon University
Hospital and Lead Rhinologist and Chairman of the ENT department at Basildon
and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Fayad undertook his medical training in Brussels. He
later trained in ENT in Belgium and the USA with specialist experience in the
USA and UK prior to his move to Basildon.
Mr Fayad was the Governor of the International
College of Surgeons between 2008 and 2011.
He is an experienced and innovative rhinologist who has been
instrumental in the introduction of the Breathe titanium nose implant for the
treatment of breathing problems in patients with nasal valve collapse.
Mr Fayad’s research interests include nasal problems during
pregnancy, asthma, nasal allergic polyps and new treatments for snoring.
Mr Fayad is an expert on allergy and allergic rhinitis. He
established the multidisciplinary unit at Basildon University Hospital for
patients suffering from a combination of nasal polyps, allergy and asthma.
