A major new six-part medical drama has begun airing on television which reflects the growing popularity of Harley Street in real life.
According to the Harley Medical Group, there has been a 35 per cent increase in business growth as demand for cosmetic surgery rises.
Liz Dale, director of the cosmetic surgery group, said that the TV series "shows what a high level of interest there is around the medical and cosmetic surgery industry as a whole and Harley Street in particular".
"More and more people are having surgery and research has shown that even though only four per cent of the population have had surgery, 44 per cent would be open to having it," she revealed.
The Harley Medical Group receives over 150,000 enquiries per year and figures show that the fastest growing procedures are abdominoplasty, breast enlargement and rhinoplasty in women, and botox, dermal fillers and laser hair removal in men.
