Rapid access to orthopaedic diagnosis and treatment

Fortius Clinic Marylebone - consultation
Open 8am to 8pm, Monday to Fridays, and with next day appointments available via an out of hours appointment line, Fortius Clinic Marylebone provides rapid access to expert diagnosis and treatment for all types of musculoskeletal conditions.

At an initial consultation lasting around 30 minutes, a Fortius specialist carefully assesses the problem and puts together a personalised treatment and recovery plan. Diagnostic investigations such as blood tests or imaging are carried out on site and the clinic boasts a state-of-the-art imaging department equipped with the latest digital x-ray equipment, MRI, ultrasound and interventional radiology facilities.

In the majority of cases, imaging examinations can be performed on the same day as consultation and are reported on by a consultant radiologist within two hours. The images are then available to radiologists and consultants, both at Fortius and elsewhere, via the clinic's secure picture archiving communications system (PACS).

Triage and nursing services such as wound care, joint injections, phlebotomy, ECG scans, fitting of supports, braces and crutches, pre-operative assessment and post-operative care are available in the clinic's fully equipped treatment room staffed by experienced orthopaedic nurses.
